Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of the Hearing (ACDHH)
The Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing (ACDHH) was established in 1977 to improve the quality of life for deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf-blind residents and serve as a statewide information referral center for issues related to people with hearing loss. ACDHH is a national leader in communication access, support services and community empowerment throughout the state of Arizona. The purpose of the organization, and its Governor-appointed commissioners, is to ensure, in partnership with the public and private sector, accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing to improve their quality of life. During our long tenure as the agency of record for ACDHH, HMA Public Relations provided media and community relations, issues management, event support and digital communications services.
