To prep for tomorrow’s #HAPPO event aimed at college grads, I asked my twitter following what's the best advice you'd give a grad looking for a job in PR. Here are some of the responses:

@NancyMyrland: Find multiple ways, virtual & physical, to network w/others in ur chosen area. #HAPPO

@NancyMyrland Don't stop studying ur craft—ever #HAPPO

@annebuchanan Master the art of networking. It remains the number 1 way jobs are found. #HAPPO

@AndyLeigh Do as many informational interviews as possible and treat them as actual job interviews. #HAPPO

@blue22pr Research your targets and network, network, network #HAPPO

@mollyi Join and volunteer with the local chapter of industry organizations to build your professional network and gain experience #HAPPO

@gritsnyc Be polite, detail-focused & eager to learn w/ "can-do" attitude. No task is beneath you. PR people talk; reputation is everything. #HAPPO

@ashleytwhite Don't count out internships! earning experience is more important than earning money sometimes 🙂 #HAPPO

@dweidaw Start at an agency for experience, accountability #HAPPO

@hanner66 Follow some of those in the industry for whom you might like to work. #HAPPO

@abailin Networking can be done anywhere. Know how I got my HMA job interview? Because of a football game! #HAPPO
