msn 1I was recently going through my Gmail inbox and clicked over to the “Promotions” tab that Google created for me that gets all my online shopping emails and some news emails. I don’t click over often as it’s usually junk, but on this day I did. And one of the things that caught my eye was that MSN had emailed me. Then I read the subject and something else caught my eye—“MSN is your place for news.”

Really?? Is MSN anyone’s place for news? I haven’t even thought about MSN in years and would have honestly thought that it was defunct. But had I known it wasn’t defunct, I would have never considered going to it for news.

I generally start out my morning checking out the Washington Post’s website, given that I’m from the DMV (Delaware, Maryland, Virginia area), I’ll read the hard copy of the Arizona Republic that’s delivered to the office, I’ll see what’s trending on my Facebook news and do a quick scroll through Twitter.

So now I’m curious…how do you get your news? And more importantly, is MSN your go-to news site?
