The volcano in Iceland and its ensuing plume of ash forced cancellation of the Public Relations Global Network’s (PRGN) meetings in Brussels.
The semi-annual meetings were scheduled for April 22-24.
With 40 member agencies from all around the world trying to juggle and reschedule travel plans, it became apparent that the best decision was to cancel the meetings with the plan to hold them in Brussels in 2011.
It is too bad because of all the planning and logistics work done by the host agencies in Brussels, PRP – Public Relations Partners, and Athenora Consulting, was to include a “back-stage” tour of the European Parliament.
And, of course, some sampling of the more than 800 kinds of beer made in Belgium.
