But, sometimes the resources aren’t always there to have a public relations firm.

Here are some quick tips for social media management:

Develop a strategy – determine how often you will post and what type of content your audience is most interested in reading and seeing.

Create content – create an editorial calendar with a month’s worth of content ahead of time.

Actively engage – talk to your followers and keep the conversation going.

Monitor the action – make sure to keep a close eye on the notifications and engagement.

Track insights – pull insights on a weekly or monthly basis for social media pages which can include top five posts for most engagement, amount of new followers, audience demographics, just to name a few.

A lot goes into social media management, and it's important to do, so this is should give you a good foundation to get started!
