With the school year winding down, there will be plenty PR graduates hoping to enter their chosen field.

Kimberly Cawthon, the only graduating senior from the Northern Arizona University PRSSA (www.prssanau.blogspot.com) chapter, will be off to Barcelona, Spain, to intern with fellow Public Relations Global Network agency SCR.

Under the direction of Sheena Campbell and Verena Duchoud-Heeb, I'm sure Kimberly will have a wonderful experience working with SCR, recognized as one of the top PR companies in Spain.

It's great to see young professionals take the initiative to land a position and to have self-confidence to make it happen at an agency across the globe.

One can only expect outstanding things from a first step as large as this.

How lucky is Kimberly! We just got back from Barcelona and loved it – one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Kimberly, be sure to see everything that Gaudi, the architect, ever built – it’s magnificent. And Barcelona is on the cutting edge of all things culinary. Also, be sure to check out my favorite hotel, the Axel Hotel (www.axelhotels.com/en) – their motto is “hetero-friendly”!!!

And, Kimberly – you’ll be learning from two of the great PR masters – Sheena Campbell Royce and Verena Duchoud.

Readers: Be sure to check SCR out online at: http://www.scr-rrpp.com

    Cheers, David

  2. Thanks David! I will be sure to make a pit stop at Axel and spend my free time exploring Parc Guell! I can’t wait! Eeeee!
