The school is about to end and public relations students should be thinking about their summer/fall internship and how to make the most of that opportunity.  Well, thanks to #HAPPO, we going to spend an hour talking about just that.

The next HAPPO Chat is scheduled for Thursday, April 26 from 2-3 pm ET. Even better news: Our host for this upcoming chat will be our Pittsburgh HAPPO champ, Deanna Ferrari (@dferrari–make sure you’re following her).

Here’s a quick synopsis from Deanna:

Everyone remembers his or her first internship – the first real foot in the door for landing a career. With college graduations right around the corner, summer internships will be starting up all over the U.S. in the next few weeks. In this chat, we’ll be talking to students and professionals alike to discuss tips for upcoming interns not only to succeed, but also to rock their upcoming summer internship. If students don’t have an internship lined up yet, no sweat! We’ll also be discussing last-minute internship opportunities to snatch up, plus tips on alternative ways to gain experience this summer. We’d love input from all ages and skill levels from both a student AND a professional perspective.

So join the chat, using the hashtag #HAPPO and help a PR pro (and soon-to-be-pro) out.
