There is something very energizing about Counselors Academy. Very smart public relations owners and managers willing to share just about anything and everything about their business with their fellow practitioners. This year’s theme focused on profits, people and potential – we’ve discussed ways to improve cash flow, how to turn professional development into new business development; what the global economy means to agencies and how to manage the three generations that are now working in the firm.
We heard from Robert Stephens, founder of the Geek Squad, on how to create buzz around your business. A big proponent of public relations and brand management, he lives and breathes his commitment to the Geek Squad, including wearing the official Geek Squad uniform – white short-sleeved shirt, tie and dark slacks – during his presentation.
