Mark the Beer Guy

Companies and individuals who differentiate themselves from their competition are those who typically enjoy long-term success.
While at a recent Cactus League spring training baseball game, I came across a beer vendor who has clearly separated himself from the six-pack.
“Mark the Beer Guy” has his own baseball card!
So in addition to getting a cold beverage from him, baseball fans can also get one of his trading cards.  Even better, the back of the card, like that of ball players, features a rundown of his career highlights:
1980 – Twins’ Home Opener (first event ever worked)
1981 – Stanley Cup Finals, Islanders vs. North Stars
1987 – World Series, Cardinals vs. Twins
1988 – Gave Jerry Garcia a bite of my club sandwich
1994-2017 – Cactus League Spring Training
1996 – Oakland A’s first six home games in Las Vegas
1997 – Super Bowl XXI, New Orleans, Packers vs. Patriots
2002 – Super Bowl XXXVI, New Orleans, Patriots vs. Rams
2002 – Candlestick Park, Packers vs. 49ers
2005 – Wrigley Field, Red Sox vs. Cubs
2008 – Super Bowl XLII, Glendale, Ariz., Patriots vs. Giants
2014 – Major League All-Star Game, Target Field
2016 – Metallica at U.S. Bank Stadium
That’s a resume!
