Resulting from the economic downturn, the travel and hospitality industry face stiff competition to reach increasingly fewer travelers. In response, our client, Elixir Interactive, is holding a workshop on November 19 to help the tourism industry use interactive marketing and social media technologies to influence destination selection.

The workshop, being held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort, will overview the most recent findings and data from leading research organizations about what influences online destination selection. It will also provide best practice examples of the tactics and techniques for leveraging social computing and other interactive marketing techniques to reach and engage those online travel customers during these tough economic times.

And the best part...all proceeds from the event will benefit St. Mary's Westside Food Bank Alliance for Thanksgiving!

A minimum $25 donation is requested for attending, and Elixir is accepting RSVPs through November 10.
