A couple years ago, I attended an EO seminar during which the speaker talked about doing “signature” things that help identify yourself or what you do.Aciphex He stressed a call-to-action for everyone with whom you come in contact.
Following that, I began using “Get Noticed” as part of my e-mail signature block. I have received countless comments about it and plenty of ribbing from some of my friends – so I’m of the opinion that “it works.”
I guess imitation is the best form of flattery!
I happened to notice during the Daytona 500, and previously during the Super Bowl, that Go Daddy, the domain name registration giant, among other things, is using the same two words as a theme for one of its commercials starring NASCAR driver Danica Patrick as a body-painting artist.
Over the last several months, I’ve contemplated changing my e-mail signature to something like: “Be Relevant,” “Bridge Gaps” or “Connect.”
To me, none seem better than what I’m already using.
