ShelbyMy first week working full time is over. As much as I loved being an intern, I’m very happy to be working as an account coordinator because for one, I get to hang out with all of my awesome co-workers all day! Truth be told, there is a never a dull day in our office. From sharing cupcakes with each other to looking up cute puppy photos to advising each other on how to decorate our offices, we have a fun and quite memorable time as a group.

But, it can’t always be fun and games, since there is still work that needs to be done. Now that I’m working full time, I’m able to pick up more responsibilities and projects. As an intern, I was constantly restricted by time because I didn’t work all day. Now, the pressure of time is lightened, so the creative juices flow better than ever. A big difference I noticed in my work performance is having an office of my own. Being able to bring in items from home helped spark creativity and brought comfort.

To any recent graduates or young professionals, what were some of the biggest differences you noticed in transitioning from intern to full-time employee?
