I had the opportunity to attend the City of Scottsdale’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration. This sold-out event is a true reminder of the diversity among us. Award-winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr. was the keynote speaker and said it was quite simple. “I made a personal decision to treat you the way I want you to treat me,” he said. “That’s what diversity means to me.” I couldn’t agree more.
