(PHOENIX - Dec. 23, 2015) - SUBWAY® Restaurants of Arizona helped make the holiday season a little brighter for 50 local youth from the House of Refuge by collaborating with Arizona Cardinals All-Pro Cornerback Patrick Peterson on his annual “Shop with a Jock” event in December. Through the partnership, SUBWAY® provided dinner for all of the children attending the event – including milk and cookies – which took place at a Tempe Wal-Mart and culminated with Peterson’s Foundation for Success gifting each child with a $100 to purchase holiday presents at the store for themselves and their loved ones. Peterson and his teammates even got in the fun, helping the children to choose the perfect gifts.
