This artist got his start in the late 1970s and became a teen idol in no time. As his hit song, “I Was Made for Dancin,” reached the US Hot 100 list his pop star status continued to grow. Other popular hits he is noted for are “Looking for Someone to Love,” “When I Think of You” and “Surfin’ USA.”
Since his album had four hit singles that charted the US Hot 100 list, he grew from teen idol to multi gold and platinum artist. But, Garrett’s career developed into even more. The American singer also pursued acting and appeared on several television shows later in life.
