JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT OPENS BANNER HEALTH PROGRAM

(Tempe) – Junior Achievement of Arizona (JAAZ) has announced the opening its newest shop – a Banner Health Center– sponsored by Banner Medical Group, in its JA BizTown® educational facility.

The new center in JA BizTown® offers “Wellness Exams” that will help teach kids about health and fitness while they are learning about managing, marketing and operating the business. The program combines four week-long in-class learning sessions with a day-long visit to the JA BizTown facility. It is a fully interactive, true-to-life, simulated town where students learn the fundamental relationship between academics and life beyond school.  All student business groups work towards the common goal of paying off their business loan by the end of the day.
