Grant Thornton is Pleased to Announce Saylor Sims as Senior Tax Manager

The Phoenix office of Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International, is pleased to announce Saylor Sims has been appointed as a senior tax manager in the tax advisory services practice. In his role, he will be responsible for providing tax consulting and compliance services to Grant Thornton’s business and individual clients.

Prior experience includes serving as a tax manager for Clifton Larson Allen, LLP and a senior tax manager for Deloitte Tax LLP in Phoenix. He has a breadth of knowledge on advising on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and individual tax law matters, as well as representing individuals in the formation, operation, management and dissolution of corporations as well as dealing with federal and state tax audit negotiations. He also has extensive experience in maximizing the benefits of the domestic manufacturing deduction for his clients.

Sims earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School Of Law. He is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and is the author of Level of Conduct Actionable under the South Carolina Business Judgment Rule, 48 S.C.L Rev. 45 (1996).

 He is a Gilbert resident.
