GAS PRICES ARE ON THE RISE, BUT TOTAL REWARDS MEMBERS CAN SAVE AT THE PUMP WITH NEW LOYALTY PROGRAM ALLIANCE

MARICOPA, Ariz. (July 18, 2013) – As gas prices continue to rise at a steady incline this summer, Caesars Entertainment’s award-winning Total Rewards loyalty program is providing members everyday benefits where it matters most: fuel savings.

Starting July 22, the loyalty program will offer members feeling the pinch at the pump new ways to save on fuel through its alliance with the Fuel Rewards Network (FRN) program. Total Rewards members will be able to earn up to 50 cents per gallon monthly in Fuel Rewards® savings.

“As a Total Rewards casino, our guests at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort will be able to earn Fuel Rewards along with Reward Credits every time they visit,” said Mike Kitner, director of marketing at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort. “Total Rewards is continually seeking new ways to bring added benefits to our members. Our alliance with the Fuel Rewards Network program demonstrates Total Rewards’ commitment to providing meaningful value to members in their everyday lives.”

When the alliance with the FRN program launches in late-July, Caesars Entertainment, a recognized leader in the loyalty industry, will be the only casino company to offer its guests the opportunity to earn Fuel Rewards savings. Fuel Rewards savings are redeemable at participating Shell stations, which makes the redemption of rewards convenient as an estimated 85 percent of Americans live within five miles of a Shell station.

“We welcome Caesars Entertainment and its Total Rewards program as our newest participant and offering in the Fuel Rewards Network program,” said Dickson Perry, founder and CEO of Excentus, provider of the FRN program.

“This new rewards offering fits well with our mission of helping our members pay less for fuel every time they fill up while also helping put more fun back in their lives,” added Tim Hauser, chief member advocate of the FRN program.

How to join

Total Rewards members can join the free FRN program by visiting fuelrewards.com/totalrewards to sign up for an FRN account. Once Total Rewards members have created their FRN accounts, they can link their Total Rewards cards to the FRN program to get started earning Fuel Rewards savings. An FRN card will be mailed after sign-up and is used to redeem Fuel Rewards savings at participating Shell stations.

Total Rewards members who are already FRN Members can simply log-in to their existing FRN accounts and link their Total Rewards accounts to start redeeming fuel savings even more quickly.

To sign up for a Total Rewards card, guests can also sign up online at totalrewards.com or by visiting the Total Rewards Center at Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort open from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day.

Earning Fuel Rewards savings is easy

Once Total Rewards members have linked their accounts to the FRN program, Fuel Rewards savings will accumulate automatically as Total Rewards members are rewarded for their spending on gaming, hotel stays, dining, entertainment, golf, spa services and more. With each visit to Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino Resort, members will continue to earn both Fuel Rewards and Reward Credits which can be redeemed for their favorite leisure activities such as dining, entertainment and hotel accommodations.

Fuel Rewards savings can be redeemed with the FRN card at participating Shell stations.

One of many Total Rewards benefits

Saving at the pump is just one of many valuable benefits to being a member of Total Rewards. Total Rewards members can earn and redeem credits at nearly 40 resorts and casinos nationwide on a wide variety of experiences, including gaming, entertainment, dining, golf, shopping, spas, nightlife and hotel rooms.
