DrugFreeAZKids.org to host “Building Better Family Relationships” Webinar

WHAT:          DrugFreeAZKids.org invites parents, caregivers, teachers and community members to participate in an upcoming webinar on building better family relationships. DrugFreeAZKids.org is the leading source of information about preventing youth substance abuse. One key way of prevention is to build and maintain strong family relationships.

Having strong bonds within the family easily allows parents to talk about the dangers of substance abuse with their children. It also allows them to teach their children about making healthy choices. This webinar will show parents how they can form these bonds among all family members.

With the average age of first-time drug use in Arizona being 13 years old and one in five high school seniors abusing Rx medication making prescription drug use among teens in Arizona an epidemic, family ties are more important than ever. Be sure to register for this webinar on Building Better Family Relationships.

DrugFreeAZKids.org’s mission is to prevent and reduce youth drug and alcohol use through community education and awareness by providing parents, caregivers, healthcare providers, educators and others with educational tools, information and resources.
