Arizona Association for Economic Development Elects Seven to Board

The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) has elected seven new members to its board of directors.

The new board members representing metro Phoenix are:  Kristen Howard, business development and marketing director for McGough Construction; Kelly Patton, senior economic development consultant for Arizona Public Service; and Angela Talbot, vice president, business development, Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC).

New board members representing metro Tucson are Councilman Marcelina Flores of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and Victor Gonzalez, economic development manager for the town of Sahuarita.

Non-metro directors are Mignonne D. Hollis, executive director of the Sierra Vista Economic Development Foundation (SVEDF), and Richard Wilkie, economic development director/airport director for the city of Casa Grande.

Each has been elected to serve a two-year term.

The new board members were approved at AAED’s general membership meeting held in conjunction with the organization’s spring conference in Prescott.

AAED, founded in 1974, has a mission n to serve as Arizona’s unified voice advocating for responsible economic development through an effective program of professional education, public policy, and collaboration.
