AAED Donates to Heart for the City

(PHOENIX- Dec. 4, 2015) The Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED) presented a check for $4,080 to the Heart for the City at AAED’s annual charity luncheon and raffle.  Joe Eriquez, Heart for the City’s executive director, accepted the check from Jennifer Graves, CEcD, AAED’s president-elect and economic development director for the Town of Gilbert.  Proceeds from a silent auction and raffle ticket sales were donated to Heart for the City, which is committed to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the children and poor families of the inner city communities. A special emphasis is placed on low-income neighborhoods by creating innovative solutions to the difficult social problems that poor families face daily.
