It’s back to school time, and today kicks off Time to Talk Month with the Partnership for a Drug-Free America (our client). New omnibus research shows that parents are concerned that overexposure to media (television, computers and video games) hinders parent/child communication, particularly when it comes to talking about substance abuse.
Our Tuesday Tip is about getting back to basics; it is never too early to start conversations with the kids in your life about making healthy choices.
Too often we get caught up in the technologies that help keep us organized and connected during the workday. Put the Blackberry down and set aside some time to talk face-to-face with your loved ones – you never know what kind of conversations may come from that important time together.
