My friend Mimi Meredith wrote a book called Blooming Where You’re Planted. A great read on life balance, relationships, leadership, civility, time management and communications. It is the type of book that you turn down the corners, scribble in the margins and re-read over and over again as a reminder of what’s important. Today’s tip comes from that book – challenge yourself to learn something new and unique about someone in your life. Whether that is a colleague, a fellow volunteer, your kid’s teacher or your neighbor. And, be sure to share a little of yourself, too. You never know what you’ll uncover.
