“What is…” Wednesday – What’s it like to be an intern? Rachel’s Take

According to a hilarious blog by Gearfuse this month, there are 39 types of people you will “meet” on Facebook and Twitter. The spot-on blog got me to thinking…who am I online?

So, today’s tip is to do what I did – find out!

In my opinion, @abailin on Twitter is NOT:

  • The person who must always tweet what she is eating
  • The constantly sick and miserable person
  • The constant PR guy (or gal)
  • The one-tweet wonder

However, I am guilty of:

  • Spoiling TV shows for others – my opinion must be heard!
  • The “sometimes” PR guy (or gal)– gotta talk about what I do and how I do it!
  • The “occasional” hashtag abuser – #Icanthelpithinkitisfunny!

In my opinion, Alison Bailin Batz on Facebook is NOT:

  • The person who constantly invites you to those stupid quizzes
  • The stupid 20-something who doesn’t realize all of his idiot party posts will come back to hurt him in life
  • The PR Drone
  • The person who constantly “likes” her own posts (only the truly awesome ones)

However, you could say that I am:

  • The person you live vicariously through

Ha- kidding on that last one!

I like to think I am one very important thing online above all else – a person! Not a PR Bot, Not a Drone, Not a Flack – a person with (awesome) things to say.

Okay, time to test yourself – who are you online? Click here to check out the list and comment me with your discoveries.
